HK's worst florists for flower delivery

When it comes to buying flowers in Hong Kong, not all florists are created equal. In fact, there are some florists that you should steer clear of if you want to ensure a positive experience. Whether it is real customer reviews complaining about wilted flowers, late flower deliveries, bad value for money prices or unsatisfactory customer service, here is a guide to the 5 worst HK florists to buy from in Hong Kong.

1. Flower Chimp Hong Kong

What customers say on Google Reviews:

"The roses conditions are really bad. The flowers withered before they bloomed. I have to use it during the graduation ceremony. So it is quite disappointing. Next time I suggest you take the photo and ask for client’s confirmation before you sent out." Jin Zhong on Google Reviews

"Avoid this place at all costs. The flowers ARRIVED half dead and looks nothing like the pics on their site. The flowers look sooo ugly and not fresh considering we paid $450 Hong Kong dollars we expect something better. Side by side comparison of expectation vs. Reality attached in the photos. I highly would NOT recommend flower chimp." Coral Lashes on Google Reviews

2. M Florist

"The quality of the bouquet was very poor, the worst flowers I have ever received.

And his Central address is just a virtual office, and the company is not in Central. I don’t recommend this store very much." kwun taitai on Google Reviews

3. Ellermann

"My teenage daughter went to this shop on Friday to get flowers for Mother’s Day. The shop sold her a very small bunch of flowers that have seen too many days in transit and in storage. The flowers were already wilting and should have been dumped in the trash bin instead of being sold. There was no artistic design of the bouquet, it was just some flowers thrown together. The shop charged her HK$2,000 cash - my daughter worked 20 days for the money. They brazenly took advantage of a naïve child. The shamelessness was amazing." Shang Song on Google Reviews

4. Just Bloom

"I got two bouquets for mother’s day and am really disappointed with what I got. Each costs over $1500 and this is so not worth it. The pink bouquet looks nothing like the picture as advertised and the wrapping skill is very bad. I have no idea why the hydrangeas is sank into the middle bottom of the bouquet. The second boquet is slightly better but the flowers seems to be wilting. The only benefit getting from this place is they accept same day orders. But my order was made two days ahead and this quality is not up to standard." E X on Google Reviews

5. Flannel Flowers

"Utterly disappointed. My sister bought me a large bouquet this weekend for my birthday.. we open the bouquet at home to put the flowers in a vase and many of the flowers were bent and already wilting. One also was growing a fungus on it. She didn’t have time so she picked an already made bouquet so wasn’t able to check the quality of the flowers ! So disappointed as it wasn’t cheap either" Margaret Kao on Google Reviews
